WorkinCT: SockStarz on the right track in giving back

It’s a business with a mission of giving back. SockStarz on LaSalle Road in West Hartford opened in September as a social enterprise owned by HARC, a non-profit that helps people with intellectual disabilities. The business was born out of funding from the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.

For Andreini - who has disabilities - her new job has become a source of pride and is the kind of responsibility she’s always dreamed of having.
